Planning for a peaceful holiday trip in Uttarakhand?

Uttarakhand is one of the places which don’t have any exploration limits. You can choose to explore as much as you can. I too was captivated on seeing the view and natural beauty of this heavenly place, Uttarakhand. Talking about its geographical location, it borders Tibet and Nepal and has is protected by Himalayan mountains. It forms one of the major tourist attraction regions with so much diversity and variety to offer. It has so much to offer in terms of Uttarakhand tourist places that one will never feel short of visiting.

I too tried to explore a major portion of it. I was spell bounded on seeing the astonishing beauty of valley of flowers. It is a wonderful valley and looks as if a bed of flowers is covering it on a wonderful icy background. The site is worth watching. As I was told, about 300 varieties of alpine flowers can be discovered here. It is also preferred by people for trekking purposes.

Next worth watching site is of Nainital and forms the next option out of many in Uttarakhand tourist places. It is a hilly area in Kumaon region and showcases a beautiful Naini lake resembling emerald color. Place is nicely surrounded with various local shops, restaurants, hotels and markets selling some local goods of the place. It gained much popularity at the time when British ruled over India as they used the place for resting and fun purposes.

Haridwar of Uttarakhand has some holy sentiments of people linked with it. It is treated as the gateway to god and believed that all sins wash away if once takes a holy bath in the Ganga River’s water there. The pale also has various temples. An appreciable crowd gathers at evening when Aarti if the river is performed and a total Hindustani culture come into attention. I didn’t miss a single Aarti while I was there.

Besides an appreciable list of places present in Uttarakhand waiting to be explored, one won’t face any problems related to accommodation and getting hotels. I was surprised with the excellent service provided by Bharat residency. It is located at a wonderful location amidst the Himalayan slopes and valleys. After having a whole tiring day, visiting here and there, having a good accommodation and excellent service proves to be icing on cake as otherwise it is quiet difficult to cope up with tiredness at  completely new place. I was touched with excellent service at Jageshwar being provided by my residency.

Jageshwar is completely lined up with temples one after the other. You can discover about 180 temples here at such a small place. Most of them are Shiva temples including of Mritunjay and Jagannath. Place is totally close to nature with much peace and calmness. The food provided by my accommodation in turn proved to be more soothing. One can avail all sorts of dishes here ranging from continental to Chinese, Italian, regional and of course Indian!

In nutshell, it was Relaxing, Rejuvenating and Refreshing!
