Computer Tips- Insert YouTube movies into PowerPoint slides

It is both possible and easy to insert the YouTube movies within your PowerPoint slides in order to put across your idea or initiate a more impactful way to communicate something. Using YouTube movie files with your simple slides, a user can also transmit these ideas in a considerably more effective manner.

Perform the following computer tips to add YouTube movies into PowerPoint slides:

• Firstly you need to download the YouTube.com movies.
•  Now save them on your computer hard drive.
• If the available movies are in flash video file format on YouTube site, you can convert the downloaded YouTube movies to any common format, e.g., Windows Media Video file (WMV), Windows Video file (AVI) and Movie file (MPEG).
• Firstly open the presentation where the movie file is to be inserted.
• Next from the Insert” menu click on “Movies and Sounds” option and then select the “Movie from File” option.
• Select the movie to be inserted into slide and then click on “Ok” button.
• Next you would be asked “Do you want your movie to play automatically in the slide show? If not, it will play when you click it.”
• It is suggested that you click on the “OK” button to play automatically even though you prefer playing the movie only when clicked.

Lastly save your PowerPoint presentation and further run it for test.
